What do I need to do to join?

Not at all. Enthusiasm and commitment are all you need.

I do not have a musical background

That is not a problem. Copies of the songs we work on will be available to you in audio format for you to practice at home.

I sing as a hobby, I do not consider myself a good singer

With time, your confidence will grow, and you will discover that you DO have a voice. It’s just that it is amazingly unique to you, and to who you are.

Can I bring others along to witness the rehearsals and possibly as support?

You can bring other people along if they want to join in person otherwise you can only bring one person if it is just to accompany you to give support

Would the repertoire include sections of individual singing?

Sandra and her team write and compose most of the songs so that we all can sing together.

How do I become a member?

The SCC membership fee is a termly subscription, but we offer other options. Further info can be found in the membership section.

Is attendance at each session compulsory?

Hopefully, you will aim to be at all rehearsals as it is very important for all future events. However, SCC is also aware that the unplanned or unexpected can also happen. Any work missed will however be available on our website. Unfortunately, rehearsals aren’t refundable for missed ones, however, you can call and keep a check that you are up to date with all songs.

What type of events will SCC be performing at?

At the end of each term, the choir will be performing at Sandra Cross shows and events, musical theatre productions, Charity events and our special ‘Friends and Family’ social evenings.

What are the future plans for SCC?

We expect SCC to grow and expand on a large scale. We are currently recruiting choir leaders, musicians and singers from all over the country to assist and train with us and to run our choirs.
